The Kane County Department of Employment and Education (KCDEE), on behalf of the Kane County Board Chair and the River Valley Workforce Investment Board / Youth Council for Kane, DeKalb, and Kendall Counties, is noticing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the provision of WIA (Workforce Investment Act) services for low-income High School Seniors and out-of-school youth up to age 21 who are residents of Kane, DeKalb, or Kendall Counties. WIA services include literacy remediation, career exploration, occupational training and work prep activities resulting in academic or occupational credential attainment and employment.
Beginning 2/19/2010 the Youth RFP may be accessed on-line at www.kcdee.org. A Bidder’s Conference will be held on Friday, March 5th, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the KCDEE Office, 1 Smoke Tree Office Complex, North Aurora, IL 60542.
